Radha-Shyama Sundar Mandir was established by Shri Shyamananda Prabhu, a prominent disciple in the Gaudiya Vaishnav tradition. The temple is dedicated to Radha Rani and Lord Krishna in their divine form as Shyama Sundar, symbolizing the deepest loving exchange between the Lord and His devotee. It holds great spiritual value for followers of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s lineage.

The temple is located in the Seva Kunj area of Vrindavan, close to Radha Damodar Temple and Nidhivan. It is situated in a peaceful, spiritually charged part of the town and is easily reachable by auto-rickshaw or on foot from other major temples in Vrindavan.

The Shyama Sundar deity in this temple is believed to have been personally gifted to Shyamananda Prabhu by Radha Rani Herself, making it extraordinarily divine and historically significant. The temple is also known for its deep spiritual discipline, daily kirtans, and its association with the eternal pastimes of Radha and Krishna in the groves of Vrindavan.

Radha-Shyama Sundar Mandir is typically open from 5:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Devotees can witness Mangala Aarti, Rajbhog, and Sandhya Aarti, along with daily bhajans and kirtans performed by local devotees and visiting sadhus. Visiting during early morning hours offers the most peaceful and spiritually charged experience.

There is no entry fee to visit the temple. While there is no strict dress code, it is recommended to wear modest and traditional attire out of respect for the sanctity of the temple. Visitors are also encouraged to maintain silence or chant softly, as the temple maintains a devotional and meditative atmosphere.
