Mathura's main bus station is the New Bus Stand on the Delhi–Agra highway (NH-19) side of the city, about 2–3 km from Mathura Junction railway station. Vrindavan has its own smaller roadways bus stand. UP Roadways (UPSRTC) and private buses connect Mathura with Delhi, Agra, Noida, Aligarh, Bharatpur and Jaipur. From the bus stand, Vrindavan temples are about 11–12 km by auto, e-rickshaw or cab.

From Delhi, buses leave from the major ISBTs (Sarai Kale Khan, Kashmiri Gate and Anand Vihar) and take about 3.5–4.5 hours depending on the route and stops. From Agra, buses take about 1.5–2 hours. AC and Volvo-type services run on some routes, while ordinary buses stop more often.
Shared tempos, autos and e-rickshaws run between Mathura and Vrindavan. A private cab is better if you want to visit several temples in one day, as many Vrindavan lanes are narrow and parking is limited – our drivers know where to stop closest to each temple.
